This event has ended.

While Keijiro Satoh is well known as a composer amongst the experimental cross media collective “Jikken Kobo”, from the 1970’s onwards he made use of medical and sound equipment to create “Strange Vibrating Objects”, formed through a process of trial and error. With mechanical and magnetic movement, whirling and sound all creating a sense of humor, juxtaposed with solemn performance, the viewer becomes part of the surrounding phenomenon and may directly experience just what exactly is going on. This exhibition presents 30 unique works from the Museum of Fine Arts, Gifu collection.
