This event has ended.

During a 1 year stay in California in 2013 Kitano came to develop a series of new landscape works, building on his past “One Day” series, consisting of long exposure times usually taking 1 day to complete. Previously Kitano has taken up historical and everyday landscapes from urban streets, to areas of past bombings, islands of leprosy suffers and the once war ravaged sites of Okinawa. His new work is divided across two series of “Day Light” and “Watching the Moon”, in an examination of the relation between nature and the man made, with scenes of highways, city streets and war monuments set upon with the light of the sun and the moon.
