The New Year has passed, but these “engimono” mascots and lucky charms keep up the celebratory spirit. Meant to ensure safety at home, success in business, and advancement in school, for generations these charms have infused everyday life with strength and energy. Whether for oneself or loved ones, these works of contemporary art and craft make perfect gifts.
