Since its establishment in 1906 in Komatsu, Ishikawa, the Kinzangama kiln has enjoyed 108 years of history. This kiln draws upon the legacy of 17th century Kaga kilns with Kunitani ware famed for its colorful depictions and generous use of gold. Here work of the acclaimed living national treasure Minori Yoshita combined with the designer Moritaka Yoshita is presented in a reflection of over a century of the kiln’s history.
