Saneatsu Mushanokoji’s Depiction of Japanese Spring

Discovery Museum

This event has ended.

Saneatsu Mushanokoji is renowned for his literary work across the Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods, but over the course of his 90 years he not only authored many books but also created a range of calligraphy and painting works. With strong associations with the Shirakabaha literary group Moritatsu Hosokawa built up a collection of related art work, including key works from Mushanokoji, select pieces of which are placed on public display for the first time here.
