This event has ended.

This museum – the first in Japan to specialize in realist painting – introduces a variety of works from more than 20 new collections by popular painters of realism. Comprised of around 140 items displayed throughout nine galleries, you can discover the ideal landscapes pursued by these artists. Gallery 8 has undergone a total rehang, now displaying 14 masterpieces by big names such as Hiroshi Noda, Hiroshi Hada, Fumihiko Gomi, and Osamu Ono. Check out the gallery talks by various exhibiting painters on December 2, 9, 16 (events in Japanese, booking required).
