Hiroko Kawashima + Hideo Takashima “Dots and Holes”
This event has ended.
Artist Hideo Takashima has garnered recognition in Japan and overseas for his human-shaped porcelain figures with holes in place of faces and sculptures made of dried bonito. Hiroko Kawashima transitioned to Nihonga and wood carving after stints creating connect-the-dots puzzles and working as an IT content producer. This exhibition ties together the work of these two creators with different backgrounds with the keywords “dots and holes”.
