This event has ended.

The ancient bronze works of China have had a long-lasting impact on the forms and patterns found in East Asian metal craft. Ancient deities often appear in elaborately detailed motifs on the surfaces of these bronzes and have become important symbols in Chinese art. This exhibition focusing on works from the Sumitomo Collection introduces the origins of East Asian pattern design.
