This event has ended.

The role of typographic printing was not limited to spreading information. Scholars, authors, proofreaders, and printers met at a common location – the printing house, which functioned as a forum for facilitating points of contact between them. After the invention of Gutenberg’s press, some astronomical scholars such as Regiomontanus, Petrus Apianus, Johannes Schöner, and Tycho Brahe also worked in printing. This exhibition shows the intrinsically linked relationship between the printer and the scholar.
