Handcraft for the Digital: Type Design from India

Atelier Muji Ginza

poster for Handcraft for the Digital: Type Design from India

Ends in 10 days

The world is filled with letters. In today’s digitalised society, typefaces (shapes and styles of letters) are more important than ever. Catering to the urges to express, deliver, record, and understand each other, a typeface can be a profoundly expressive yet beautiful tool that nurtures. This exhibition introduces the “Typecraft Initiative” launched in 2011 by an Indian designer. The goal of the initiative is to create designs integrating indigenous culture and innovation.
