Kunihiko Katsumata “My Youngest Sister”
Ends in 21 days
“My Youngest Sister” is the latest work of Kunihiko Katsumata, whose creative activities include film, writing, and performance as well as photography. Last year after his sister passed away, Katsumata discovered among her belongings a set of family photographs he thought had been lost. He was compelled by the mystery of why she had held on to these photographs. Like Katsumata’s previous work, “My Youngest Sister” takes a subjective look at the universal human experience of death. Using prints and digital frames, he tells a story through photography, film, and words. On the last day he will hold a question-and-answer session on loss and grief that is to become a part of these works.
