Ends in 11 days
Yoshiki Hase started his career as a photographer in New York, where he spent seven years before returning to Tokyo in 2006. In his 181° series, Hase experimented with new horizons of harmony in landscapes, to which he added three-dimensional compositions created himself. In his next series, First Composition, he questioned the existence and behaviors of the human species, and relationships between the landscapes surrounding us, by suggesting what practices we humans could take when we encounter situations somewhere on the earth or even in outer space. In the new series Dessin, which will be showcased on the scale of a solo exhibition for its very first time, Hase takes a step even further and experiments in drawing new dimensions of landscapes. Hase brings in an object he created himself and fixates the impression and impulse he felt the moment he encountered the scenery in the nature with photography.
