This event has ended.

Masahiro Maki Gallery is pleased to present Colors and Figuration, an exhibition of works by four postwar and contemporary women artists, Atsuko Tanaka (1932-2005), Yayoi Kusama (1929- ), Anne Kagioka Rigoulet (1987- ), and Shiori Tono (1994- ). Grounded in the experiences, memories and imagination of each artist, the colors, forms, and figures that appear in their works continue to fascinate viewers, even as they change their aspect with the passage of time. This exhibition highlights the interplay between the works of these four artists whose unique perspectives transcend pre-existing styles and frameworks of art history.
