This event has ended.

This exhibition is a part of the Marisa Newman Projects held in New York last year. The exhibition title “Thin Red Line (Of Courage)” is derived from an expression used to show respect to firefighters who have given their lives in the line of duty. The expression has also been used as a title of a 1962 novel depicting the battle of Guadalcanal during World War II that was twice made into film including Terence Malick’s 1998 effort. This installation takes its inspiration from the theme of the “thin red line” between the natural beauty of the locations and the “death” facing the soldiers.
