Cherry Blossom Party

Cherry Blossom Party is a seven-artist exhibition. The inaugural cherry blossom viewing party in Shinjuku Gyoen park has been hosted by the Prime Minister of Japan from 1952. However, in 2020 the government has decided not to hold it. This exhibition recalls previous parties with various aspects of cherry blossoms and celebrates the vintage and authentic Japanese sense of beauty. Viewers may sense hints of corruption and hidden relationships with politicians and antisocial forces.
