s+arts Summer Exhibition
This event has ended.
The s+arts summer exhibition features work by four artists. Shiori Ichikawa depicts problems arising among humans and animals in drawings and silkscreen prints. Miho Nishikawa explores the concept of “the seen and unseen” in oil paintings and watercolors of people, things, and characters covered in cloth. Rika Hirata’s free-form paintings and installations compile various elements that resound with each other. Mayu Fujisawa uses the Japanese technique of tsutsugaki resist dyeing to create light-colored paintings on cloth. The gallery will take a month-long break after this show.
