Introducing the history of soaps and cosmetics and how they have influenced Japanese ideas of beauty and sanitation. Examples of these products and their advertisements are on display. While an earlier exhibition looked at soap and cosmetics in the Meiji through early Heisei periods, this show goes back further in time with a wider range of research materials.
