 Kasama Nichido Museum of Art was opened in 1972 by Hasegawa Jin, the founder of the Nichido Gallery, in his hometown of Kasama City. Within its grounds, the museum features several notable facilities: the "Kamoirei Room," an exhibition hall hosting exhibitions of renowned domestic and international painters such as Picasso and Tsuguharu Foujita, the France Pavilion which primarily displays French art, the Japan Pavilion with the "Kanayama Heizo and Satake Toku Memorial Room," showcasing over 200 palettes used by artists, and an outdoor sculpture garden adorned with bronze statues by famous Japanese sculptors.
