Shinji Koizumi's newest work is an installation centered on images taken with original filming techniques. His visuals are focused on the projection window that stands between a projector and a film screen. The viewers' attention will be caught by the delicate scars and silhouettes carved onto the glass. The wavering light of Koizumi's work tells the story of life and its brightness.
The title of this event comes from Robert de Niro's character in the movie "Taxi Driver". Koizumi was inspired by the movie's conflicts between right and evil, and between reality and ideal.
