Masaaki Yamada
Masaaki Yamada (b.1930; lives in Kunitachi) has been exploring the possibilities of paintings in post-war Japan. On exhibit are his early "Still Life" series, the well-known "stripe" paintings, and his "Color" series created between 1997-2000.
Enjoy this uniquely stoic painting style.
