Shinichiro Okamura
Shinichiro Okamura was born in Aichi prefecture in 1974. He graduated from Nagoya University of Art, Design Department, in 1997. Since 1996, while he was still a student at the university, he held many solo and group exhibitions. He also worked for many books, such as "Densha Otoko (Train Man)” published by Shincho Co.
We can say that what he draws are living things and nature itself. They exist strongly in his work while connoting their own sorrow, comicality, and ephemerality. He continues to draw what can be considered the essence of life using bold deformities and colors of his choice.
In this exhibition, we will exhibit about 50 pieces of his work created since 2001.
