Artists

Katsuro Yoshida
Yoshida Katsuro (1943-1999) was one of the leading artists of the early 1970's Mono-ha (School of Things). In recent years this group of artists and its subsequent movements came into focus again. Through previously unpublished pictures and engravings, this exhibition will review the artist's mono-ha, his personal views and social engagement. Yoshida's monochrome pictures tell of his search for the unusual hidden in daily life; he used to say "Question what you see, sense what is not visible and reality will disclose itself".
