William Klein
This is a DVD screening of "Mister Freedom", a French movie that was released in 1968.
Initially a photographer who established himself as a fashion photographer of bold techniques, Michael Klein won a Best New Photographer prize in 1957. During 1965-78 he moved into the realm of film, constantly shifting styles as he drifted between fiction and documentary. This is a kitsch film featuring many pop props and costumes that are characteristic of his warped taste in fashion.
