Artists

Naomichi Okutsu
The artist's work usually depicts people, or else a combination of people and creatures who inhabit a world different to our reality - similar to the world of myths and folk tales. Although the pictures feature specific motifs, the artist is largely inspired by other-worlds removed from the limitations of our daily lives like physicality and time. This other-world is abundant with free-flowing energy and thoughts, which the artist converts into specific, tangible images in his mind. At times the images come naturally, and other times consciously. In any case, he tries to be as true to those images as possible when painting them on canvas.
