Mariko Hasumi
Mariko Hasumi was born in Tochigi Prefecture in 1978. Her work consists of expressing miscommunications and misunderstandings in our daily life on 'stage'. With the effect of a red carpet, the exhibition space is made into one large stage where works are placed as stage equipment, props, and scenarios. By entering that space, the viewer becomes the focus of this 'stage'.
