The declining birth rate and increasing aging society are serious social problems in Japan today. The artist's works in this exhibition do not shed light on these problems directly, but carry a big theme, that women should be human beings before they are women. Genderism can be read into her works.

The women who model in her works are between their late 30s and 40s, and are living freely according to their own values without being tied down by institutions or men. These women do not loudly criticize men as the women's liberation movement did in the past, nor do they revolt against existing social systems. They seem to be having fun by expressing themselves in the works. There is always the question of what lies ahead of this freedom, but the artist's calm view of these phenomena that modern society has produced is apparent. The exhibition provides an important opportunity to take another look at these issues from the realm of art.

The exhibition comprises 6 large-scale photographs and a few drawings.
