This is a talk show and autograph session with James Jarvis and Russell Waterman commemorating the release of the Japanese version of their comic book, "Vortigern's Machine."

Jarvis (http://homepage.mac.com/james.jarvis/) was born in 1970 and started working as a freelance illustrator after graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1995. His artwork has been published in magazines such as Numero, I-D and others, and he has been involved in creating advertisements for companies such as Sony, Nokia and TOTO. After 1998, he has routinely been submitting graphics and figure designs to fashion brand Silas. He started the Toy company AMOS with Russell Waterman and others in 2002, and has recently been involved in projects with fashion brands such as Stussy, Nike and Chloe as he continues to broaden his range of creative activity.

Russell Waterman started his career in 1988 at one of London's most influential record and skate shops of the time, Rough Trade / Slam City Skaters. He established Silas & Maria in 1998 with then colleague Sofia Prantera. Since then he has acted as a collaborative editor for the Silas concept art book "Where is Silas?"

"Vortigern's Machine" is a modern day "Alice in Wonderland" comic based on two boys' adventures.
