A veteran of conceptual art, Lawrence Weiner is widely known for his text-based work. His latest video piece "Water in Milk Exists" will be presented at Uplink for the first time in Japan. The work, which features fourteen men and women, all naked, capturing the free spirit of human beings - a trait much diluted in our modern lives - and challenging both artistic and pornographic conventions.
Also being organized at this two-night only event are a presentation of behind-the-scenes footage and a talk by the work's producer, Noritoshi Hirakawa.
