"Reading Setagaya" Exhibition

Lifestyle Design Center
Finished
This exhibition aims to introduce Setagaya Ward from the "alien"'s viewpoint. Easy-to-understand illustrations based on researched data paint a lively picture of the area.

Once every five years, the Setagaya Ward conducts research on land use in the area. This research consists of detailed checkups on how the land is being used, its safety, vegetation (including how many trees there are), wildlife and so on. Researchers walk around the neighborhoods, taking notes on every single aspect of the area.

It is hard to understand what these accumulated numbers tell about Setagaya. Based on the collected information, this exhibition presents the current state of the Setagaya Ward through an illustrated story.
