Artists

Hiroshi Nomura
Artist Hiroshi Nomura puts "eyes" on everyday objects that surround us in order to bring life to those objects. His work always grants the audience the liberty of a casual interpretation. His "Eyes" series was a collection of work featuring a rich variety of photos, drawings, paintings, cups, and sofas.
Once purchased though, these adorable objects begin to assert a space of their own within the owner's home. They start to undermine our notions of common sense and of the everyday. They cause the boundaries between art and product, decoration and trash to waver, testing the boundaries of art and the everyday.
