Artists

Leslie Kee
Leslie Kee is a representative young Singaporean photographer. After coming to study in Japan in 1994 and graduating from the photography department of the Tokyo Visual Arts School, Kee began working as a photographer in Japan, Asia and America in a wide variety of media, such as fashion and advertising. In recent years, he has begun working on his lifework, a photo collection called "Super Stars" that features around 300 celebrities, fashion models, stars and talents dressed in elegant costumes and shot in bold poses, capturing their unique spirit and energy. Through this collection, Kee hopes to express a certain love for humanity and the Earth, channeling his compassion towards the people who have suffered tragically as a result of natural disasters, wars and other social conflicts that erupt in many places in Asia.
This photo exhibition extends this line of thought, posing the question whether all superstars are not in fact one character, and is an excellent opportunity to get to know Kee's work better.
