This Flower Garden event also marks the 150th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama as a port. The display is divided into 8 zones, based on the theme of setting off on a voyage. 45 different types and a total of 147,000 flowers will be in bloom. As with previous years, the section bordering the sea will be host to about 5 wedding ceremonies during the period of the exhibition.
