Dada Docot was planned to be exhibited at the gallery from August 7th to 9th but due to her visa application being rejected by the Japanese government she cannot attend the exhibition.
Her response was to draw a new plan for the exhibition on the theme of the "non-appearance" imposed on her. She asked for photographs of the empty gallery to be taken at the time of the opening and closing each day. On hearing about the situation, Keiko Kamma decided to take a video entitled "Untaken Routes" that document the places in Tokyo that Docot had planned to visit.
The exhibition will present the video born out of the collaboration between the two artists as well as a video conference with Manila through the internet.
1st day: only the artist statement will be on display
2nd day: reception party, 6-8pm
Last day: Display the records from the past two days.
