Merry in Yokohama is a collaborative project between Merry Project, JICA and Japan Red Cross aiming to make as many people as possible happy.
1. Merry Yokohama at JICA
August 1st - 31st at JICA Yokohama
Exhibition of smiles and messages on the theme of town-building and disaster prevention.
2. World Summit for Children
August 10th - 12th at Osanbashi, Yokohama
Children from Yokohama and from around the world will talk to each other through Skype video conference.
3. World Youth Sports Summit
August 21st - 23rd at Pacifico Yokohama
Children from around the world will gather at Pacifico Yokohama to hold a conference prior to the event.
4. JCI Event for the 150th Anniversary of the Opening of the Port Yokohama
September 12th at Marinos Town
Balloons with smiles will be released into the sky. Booths will also be opened where the Red Cross will hold workshops and the smiles of children from Yokohama as well as photographs from the Merry in Asia event will be displayed.
