"Do Androids Dream?" Exhibition

Pepper's Gallery
Finished
The title of this exhibition is taken from Philip K. Dick's classic science fiction novel, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?", the original work behind the 1980s film "Blade Runner". When advancements in genetic engineering have made the Dicksian nightmare of human cloning a contemporary reality, why are we still obsessed with the simulacral world? This exhibition program brings together a selection of the ever-growing world of robotic simulacra such as figures, robots, dolls, dioramas and 3D computer graphics.
