Ayako Suwa
Ayako Suwa is a much talked-about food artist who stages exhibitions and performances, caters for events and develops products. She first attracted widespread attention for her "Sensuous Food, Emotional Taste" exhibition held at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa in 2008.
This large-scale retrospective of Suwa's work features food-themed sculptures, photographs and graphics, as well as video screenings that record her past projects under the name Food Creation. In addition, a guerilla restaurant called Lost Tongues will be set up in the museum offering guests "emotional taste" performances, while a selection of products developed by Food Creation will be on sale at the bar in the lobby area.
