Eli Okamoto
Eli Okamoto is a young artist born in 1987 in Chiba prefecture, currently enrolled as a graduate student in the painting department of Tokyo University of the Arts. She received the Taito Ward Mayor Prize and the Mr. O Memorial Prize for her 2010 graduation work, which was purchased by the Tokyo Taito district municipality.

This exhibition features a selection of fantastic pencil drawings in addition to new oil and acrylic paintings, including her graduation work “Spirited Away”, which depicts children spirited off into the depths of the forest, taken away by packs of innumerable animals.
