Artists

Franz von Bayros
Franz von Bayros (1866-1924) was a fin-de-siecle artist best known for his illustration work for Dante's The Divine Comedy. His erotic, decadent images caused much controversy at the time, and many of them were banned. This exhibition - the second installment following a well-received show of his ex libris bookplates in February - showcases a variety of Bayros' book illustrations.
