Mike Perry, the multi-field artist working in both sculpture and painting founded in the belief in the infinite recesses of his own art, here holds his first Tokyo solo show.
It is an installation looking at the theme of consumption as a method of communication, featuring a variety of genre of artworks, including silkscreen prints, zines and publications, sculptures and paintings. There are numerous works with repeated motifs, plus mass-produced objects, with prices depending on their sizes and variations, in the hope that the artist can communicate with visitors through the action of consumption.
