Art Lab Tokyo
Finished

Artists

Takashi Taruya
Takashi Taruya is a contemporary painter who offers a fresh take on the ancient Japanese animist beliefs embodied by "yokai" monsters and spirits. This exhibition showcases an experimental series inspired by what is generally considered to be the only extant picture scroll from the Muromachi period.
