Saori Ono
Saori Ono was born in Fukushima in 1981. After graduating from Joshibi University of Art and Design in 2005, she participated in the Gunma Youth Biennale and won the Shell Art Prize. Born into a family of fishermen and having lost her grandfather while he was at sea, Ono continues to harbor a deep fear of the power of nature and a lingering sentiment of the transience of life.
