Naoko Kumagai
Naoko Kumagai is known for her acutely real photography that has caught the eyes of women in fashion magazines and on advertising. Onto the background of an ordinary landscape of concrete buildings, roads, flowers and night inanity, Kumagai injects nuances of joy and loneliness.
This exhibition collects moments of the Tokyo she loves, moments of secret female reality. Kumagai has lived in Paris for her twenties and this show follows on from her solo exhibition "anemone" in 2008, and features around 40 prints large and small.
