Gaku Azuma
Renowned art director Gaku Azuma presents an exhibition of Japanese "bokuga" ink paintings that depict his favorite subject - women. These works encapsulate both an avant-garde sensibility and a more traditional Japanese aesthetic, using delicate, feathery brushstrokes to depict strands of jet black hair, the rotundity of soft, luscious skin, and the ornate patterns of extravagant kimonos.
