Mizuho Koyama
Mizuho Koyama is a Japanese calligraphy artist. She studied calligraphy at the Shosoin association of Japanese calligraphy founded by Suiho Kuwabara, a master calligrapher from the Meiji period. Her recent work features arrangements of words and characters created using a geometric and architectural approach. These words and characters are mostly extracted from the Manyoshu (the oldest existing anthology of poetry in Japan), and old poems by the 13th century Persian mystic poet Rumi.
