Kinya Ueki
Kinya Ueki is a comic artist who continues to pursue new artistic possibilities even at the venerable age of 90. He first attracted legions of young fans with his sword-fighting period dramas, featuring epic brawls and battles where villains are cut down in quick succession. This exhibition focuses on Ueki’s period drama comics and historical epics, showcasing some 450 pieces including nihonga paintings and film posters.
