Sachiho Ikeda
Sachiho Ikeda was born in Tokyo in 1986 and spent her childhood in Saint Petersburg. After graduating from Musashino Art University in 2009, she had her work selected for inclusion in the Shell Art Award exhibition and Tokyo Wonder Wall. Ikeda's paintings depict a world of Japanese gardens within the compounds of warrior residences, shrines and temples - magical spaces isolated from the clamor of their surroundings. This exhibition showcases some 10 oil, acrylic and mixed media works.
