Takafumi Asakura
Takafumi Asakura was born in Yokohama in 1978 and studied nihonga painting at Tama Art University. His early work post-graduation was selected for inclusion in both the Nitten and Nisshun-ten exhibitions. On display at this exhibition are ink paintings that offer minutely detailed depictions of dragons and phoenixes in mid-flight.
