Max Ernst "Figure x Scape"

Utsunomiya Museum of Art
Finished

Artists

Max Ernst
Max Ernst (1891–1976) was one of the leading Surrealist artists who used collage and frottage in innovative ways. This exhibition seeks not to apply the theories of Surrealism to his works, but rather to explore the specific topics that were close to his own heart.
