Snuff bottles containing powdered tobacco mixed with fragrances gained popularity in China around the mid 17th century. These bottles were decorated with agate, crystal, glass, ivory and various other ornamental objects depending on the owner's status. This exhibition showcases a collection of snuff bottles that Shoichiro Oki accumulated over a period of some 20 years.
