José Parlá "Prose"

Yuka Tsuruno Gallery
Finished

Artists

José Parlá
Parlá's internationally acclaimed paintings are dialogues with the cities where he travels. Calligraphic text resembling journal entries combines with layered backgrounds of paint and found-object collages from city walls to tell an array of stories within the imagination. Divided into two large and small gallery spaces, this exhibit features canvas paintings and a fifteen-meter mural Parlá created during his stay.
